GENERAL
   
Slot approval is required for all airports in India.
Pilots are advised to carry tow bar onboard the aircraft as push back is mandatory at most of the airports in India.
All the crew members are advised to obtain visa before coming into India.
 
MUMBAI (VABB)
   
Airport closure for general aviation: 0230 – 0430 UTC & 1200 – 1400 UTC everyday.
 
GOA (VAGO)
   
Parking not available owing to paucity of space. After disembarking the passengers, the aircraft is to be repositioned to any other airport.
Owing to naval exercises, no landing permitted for general aviation between 0230 – 0730 UTC and between 0730 – 1030 UTC due to congestion of commercial flights.
 
PUNE (VAPO)
   
Owing to paucity of parking space, aircraft may be asked to be repositioned to another city.
Airport closure for general aviation between 0230 – 0500 UTC & 1400 – 1700 UTC (daily other than Saturday). On Saturdays due to runway maintenance airfield is not available for landing between the period 0530 – 1200 UTC.
 
HYDERABAD (VOHS)
   
Airfield closed between the period 0800 – 2100 UTC on every Tuesday owing to runway maintenance.
 
HYDERABAD (VOHY)
   
The airfield is available between the period 0100 – 0800 UTC & 0900 – 1600 UTC everyday.
Customs / Immigrations not available. Airport can be used only for domestic arrivals, departures.
 
BANGALORE (VOBL)
   
Airfield not available between 07:02 – 09:30 UTC every Saturday due to runway maintenance.
 
BANGALORE (VOBG)
   
Customs / Immigrations not available. Airport can be used only for domestic arrivals, departures.
 
AGRA (VIAG)
   
Agra is a VFR airfield for general aviation and all the aircrafts are required to land/takeoff when the visibility is more than 3.7 km.
  Special VFR is a possibility when the visibility is less than 3.7 km but more than 1500 meters.
 
NOTICE PERIOD FOR NON SCHEDULE FLIGHTS:
   
7 working days for flights for traffic purposes.
3 working days for flights for non-traffic purposes i.e. over flights / technical landing.
The minimum notice period requirements, however, may not be insisted upon in the following cases :
      A. Ambulance flights   
    B. Relief flights
    C. 3 Weeks notice required for obtaining clearance for defense airfields.
