Requirement for landing/overflight/technical landing permits for
India.
- Business flights
operating to India require a minimum of 8 working days
notice.
- Overflights require 4
working days notice.
- Technical landings
require 4 working days notice.
- Crew Visas
required/72 hours TLP can be arranged on prior notification.
- Consequent upon change
in name of Bombay city to Mumbai City, Mumbai airport has been renamed
as Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. However use of Mumbai in
all aeronautical communication such as Mumbai Tower, Mumbai
Ground,Mumbai Approach,Mumbai Control,Mumbai Radar and Mumbai Radio
remain unchanged.Vide G-series Notam No.G0048/99
- Calcutta Airport has
been renamed- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.
- Consequent upon change
in name of Madras city to Chennai City, Madras airport is renamed as
Chennai airport.
- When an aircraft
carries a serviceable transponder the pilot shall operate the
transponder at all times during flight within Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai,
Guwahati and Mumbai FIR's regardless of whether the aircraft is within
or outside AIRSPACE where SSR is used for ATS purpose.
- The transfer of control
point between AHEMDABAD ACC and KARACHI FIC will be TELEM instead of
VASLA on ATS ROUTE G208E and G472E and TELEM instead of SASRO on ATS
ROUTE A-IE. Aircraft entering AHEMDABAD TMA to give position report
accordingly.
- Customs surety bonds
are to be filed when a foreign registered aircraft is to operate within
India.
